In early October of 2017 the Old Dominion Model A Ford Club in Richmond, Virginia went on a six day road trip to Lancaster, PA Amish country. We saw many covered bridges, visited the AACA Museum in Hershey, strolled through Longwood Gardens, enjoyed seeing steam and gas engines at the "Rough and Tumble" exhibit, and savored many fine meals along the way. Five Model A's and eight members made the trip with only one vehicle offering a series of unscheduled roadside technical seminars. A good time was had by all.

Here's a few videos I strung together upon our visit to the nice community of Bird In Hand next to Intercourse Pennsylvania. There's a large population of Amish here. It is asked that you don't take their picture, so I didn't. We did shop their wares and got some cheese and sausages. I saw a hot air balloon take off outside our motel room. This motel has some newly renovated rooms, ours was awesome. I really liked the shower, and the beds were comfortable. :)

Fred Woods Trail Hike Video 2013. Follow John and Danielle as they hike the Fred Woods Trail which is located near Driftwood, Pennsylvania. The trail is 4.57 miles long and is an excellent trial for anyone to hike. The couple films portions of the trail and scenic views as they travel through young and old growth forests with large rock formations scattered throughout the trail. They also come to two amazing vistas where you can see for miles. The best part are the rock formations near the middle of the trail!
Welcome to Traveling With Pat! We'll explore abandoned places and show you other interesting things about Pennsylvania that you might not know about. The Harrisburg Outdoor YMCA and campground was closed down in 2001. It had fallen into disrepair, and they didn't have the money needed to renovate it to the new pool standards that were being set.

This is the first part of the hike I did after the Clarion North Country Trail Associations February 2017 Monthly Hike from Foxburg, PA to Parker, PA. This video begins with a one minute (sped up) drive from Foxburg, PA (across the Allegheny River and South to Parker, PA). Once across the bridge I am in Armstrong County, PA. Parker was dedicated a Trail Town for the North Country National Scenic Trail several years ago. I begin walking along the road following the blue blazes through the lower and upper portions of Parker, PA. I then end up on increasingly remote roads, until I reach a trail head marked with NCT Signage. This entire section is maintained by the Butler, PA Chapter of the North Country Trail Association. This part ends shortly after beginning to hike on the hiking tr...
We're headed to Pennsylvania, where we'll learn that Philly is about more than the cheesesteak. Frank Pinello meets with a fourth-generation pizzaiolo and a new-school dough wizard who show us that there's not one style defining Philly pizza, and that's a good thing. Between ingredient shopping at the South 9th Street Italian Market and trying the Philly Taco on South Street, Frank gets the full tour of the Philadelphia pizza scene before heading out to Roots Country Market in Lancaster to meet with seventy-year-old Norma Knepp who can make pizza with (or better than) the best of them. There's so much delicious pizza packed into the state, we're petitioning to have it renamed Pizzalyvania. This is a video I made while I was touring Lancaster county Pennsylvania on the Strasburg railroad. This is a video of my rail fans my crew and I taking a journey on the 30 minute video through the Amish Country. The ride back to the station is a full one way ride in it's entirety from the open air coach car named Hello Dolly from the late movie with Barbra Streisand.
